Workshop: The “Big Five”: Numerical Modeling of Cave Mining

The objective of this MassMin2020 workshop is to review the “Big Five” geomechanical challenges associated with mass mining: caveability, ground subsidence, infrastructure stability, fragmentation, and gravity flow.

Dr. Mojtaba Bahaaddini (Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman), along with Associate Professor Glenn Sharrock (Itasca/UQ), and Professor Bruce Hebblewhite (UNSW), have landed the prestigious "Computers and Geotechnics 2019 Sloan Outstanding Paper Award".
